I started taking photographs on a hand-me-down camera from 1973 that my Dad gave to me. Shooting manually with film, I fell in love with photography and documenting life. These days, I live and work as a lifestyle & wedding photographer in Tofino and Ucluelet, on beautiful Vancouver Island.

 

My approach to photography is simple—when I look at a picture I have taken, and I can remember the exact moment in time, the feelings, the lighting, the smells, and sounds, I know I have done my job. This is what I love. While life is flashing before us, I am making sure the memories are here for a lifetime.

When I am not taking photos, I am likely surfing, snowboarding, or walking my dogs. I love the beach and the mountains and feel so fortunate to have both in my life.
