Family Photos in Tofino || Johnson Family || Long Beach

Years ago, when I started out as a photographer in Tofino, I didn't do too many family sessions. Fast forward to the past few seasons and holy did I ever photograph a lot of families! I truly love kids and how they react to the camera, it is absolutely hilarious. The Johnson girls were no exception. They laughed and screamed at the top of their lungs (another amazing thing about shooting outdoors on the beach in Tofino) and taking their picture was such a delight. Kids experience a different kind of joy than we do as adults—uninhibited, wild, and limitless. The sky went from blue-gold to cotton candy pink throughout our session. The shoes came off, sand got everywhere, and everyone was smiling so hard our cheeks hurt but the end. Thanks Johnson family, you four were a blast!
