August Wedding on Vancouver Island || Emma & Keanan || Port Alberni

Emma and Keanan's August wedding on Vancouver Island was a day to remember! The forecast had been calling for rain on their wedding day for an entire week leading up to the actual day. I packed a rain shield for my camera and the world's largest umbrella and had every intention of getting soaked for 8 hours. As the morning progressed, the rain clouds departed and the sky brightened to the perfect shade of beautiful. Surrounded by their friends and family, they read their hand written vows and promised their lifetime to one another.

One of the things I love about weddings on Vancouver Island in August is the amount of daylight hours. It makes it easy to choose a few different beautiful locations for portraits (I love variety!) while still having daylight for the ceremony, family pictures and reception.
